Matrimony asks families to put their most personal details in a stranger's hands. We built Matchmonster so you never have to. What follows is not marketing — it is how the platform is engineered, written down so you can hold us to it.
The vault
What we keep sealed
Your public profile and your private details are stored apart, by architecture — not by policy alone. The public side carries only what you chose to show. Everything below lives in your vault, and leaves it only through an explicit reveal that you control.
Your full name
The world sees a first name or the alias you choose.
Your date of birth
Profiles show an age in years. The date stays sealed.
Your phone number and email
Never listed, never searchable, never sold.
Your family's names and contacts
Parents and siblings helping your search are not inventory. They are never published.
Your private photos
Photos marked connections-only live here until you say otherwise.
What you told your advisor
The verification call stays between you and the advisor team. It never appears on your profile.
Contact reveals
Three locks on every reveal
A contact card opens only when all three conditions hold at once. Any one of them missing, and it stays shut — for everyone, including us.
The match must be mutual
No one can request your contact card unless you have both said yes to each other. Interest alone unlocks nothing.
You must have allowed it
Sharing on match is a setting you control. Leave it off and your contact card cannot be revealed to anyone — matched or not.
You can take it back
Revoke sharing at any time. A reveal is a permission you extend, not a purchase someone made of you.

Photos
Every photo has its own rule
Public
Shown to anyone browsing. Entirely optional — many members show none.
Connections only
Visible after a mutual match. Until then, browsers see a veiled tile — a designed state, not a missing image.
On request
Shared person by person, when you decide. You see who asked; they see nothing until you agree.

Invisible mode
Step out of browse and match lists while you look around, take a break, or talk with someone you have already matched. Your conversations continue; new eyes see nothing. Switch back whenever you are ready.
No SMS. Ever.
We never ask for an SMS OTP and never send marketing texts — so your phone number never needs to enter the system at all until you choose to share it with a match. Signup verifies by email; the advisor reaches you on a call you scheduled.
Human verification
Gold here is earned, never bought
The gold mark on a profile means one thing: a human advisor did the work. There is no paid tier that grants it and no checkbox that fakes it. Three rungs, each climbed in conversation.
Advisor call
Before any profile goes live, a human advisor speaks with the member or the family member managing the profile. Identity, intent, and accuracy — verified in conversation.
ID verified
Members may additionally verify a government ID with our advisor team. The document is sighted, never stored on the profile.
Family verified
The strongest mark: an advisor has also spoken with the member's family. Reserved for profiles where the whole household stands behind the search.
Your data, your rights
Leave with everything. Or leave nothing behind.
Under applicable data-protection law — and by our own standard regardless of where you live — your data answers to you. Both of these are self-serve from your settings, and neither requires a reason, a call, or a waiting period designed to wear you down.
Export everything
Your profile, your vault, your interests, your conversations — packaged and handed to you in a portable format, whenever you ask.
Delete for good
Deletion removes your profile, your vault and your photos. Found your match here or elsewhere — either way, when you are done, you are gone.
In writing
What we will never do
We will never show your phone number, email or address on a profile — at any price.
We will never send you an SMS, or use SMS OTPs. Not for signup, not for marketing, not at all.
We will never sell, rent or trade your data to advertisers, brokers or "partners".
We will never let anyone browse photos you marked private, including our own staff beyond the advisors who serve you.
We will never use what is in your vault to score, rank or advertise you.
We will never make deleting your account hard, partial or shameful.
We will never verify a profile for money. Verification is earned in conversation, or not at all.
A thread tied is a promise made.
